City holds public budget workshop

The public is invited to the City of Carlsbad’s annual citizens budget workshop Thursday, June 7, at 6 p.m., at the city’s Faraday Center, 1635 Faraday Ave. At the workshop, attendees will hear an overview of the city’s 2012-13 budget and have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments. Input gathered at the workshop will be provided to the City Council.

 

The City Council is scheduled to receive a report on the fiscal year 2012-13 budget June 5 and consider it for adoption June 26. The city’s fiscal year starts July 1.
