Nighttime construction work planned for Palomar Airport Road

road construction ahead
The City of Carlsbad is planning valve maintenance work on water pipelines along Palomar Airport Road from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 29. During this work, traffic will continue to flow in both directions, although some lanes of traffic will be closed. Drivers are asked to use extra caution when passing work areas. Water service should not be affected.

The work will continue valve maintenance conducted earlier in the month on water pipelines from Rancho Santa Fe Road west to College Boulevard, furthering the work west to Carlsbad Boulevard.

Although it is anticipated the work will be completed before the morning commute, if work needs to continue into the daytime hours, signs and traffic controls will be put in place.
